We help You Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Plastic Waste

It is with regret that we have decided to reduce, with a view to ending all our domestic services collections due to delays in supply chains and increased costs that will last for the foreseeable future. This last year has proved very challenging for us at Bead, as a result we have made this hard decision.

Over the next 12 months, we will be continuing the annual service for all those who have already signed up for the service and to all those that have purchased the Kerbside Packs since February, there will be further collections over the same timeframe, with a view to ending all domestic collections after the end of this period.

For anyone else that may have been collecting, we will be arranging final collections during the same timeframe.

We will be in contact with all our customers in due course, but as we have a backlog, it may take a while to get to you all.

We're on a mission to educate you about carbon neutrality and sustainable waste management. Bead provides a range of products and services to help your business or household reduce its waste output.

In British towns like Basingstoke, not enough plastic waste is recycled so we have made in our business to help you along the way.  Most plastics collected by Bead are put back into the manufacturing process, the rest is made into something new or as a last resort, incinerated. Sustainability can start at home!

We can help you reduce your waste footprint with our workshops, online eco and plastic free shop, refillable products in recycled bottles.

What YOU can do to protect the environment

  1. Reuse and Refill.

  2. Buy only Recycled items or Eco friendly,  with compostable packaging.

  3. Make use of renewable energy at all levels.

  4. Create new products with from your own recycling.

  • When we recycle, materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources which will help to protect natural habitats for the future.

  • Using recycled materials in the manufacturing process uses considerably less energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials

  • Recycling reduces the need for extracting, refining and processing raw materials all of which create air and water pollution.

  • As recycling saves energy it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change

  • When we recycle, our waste is reprocessed into new products, and as a result the a‚Äčmount of rubbish sent to landfill sites decreases, reducing our emissions of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas.

Each household produces around 1 tonne of waste every year.

The amount of waste we throw away is increasing as our quality of life improves.

The government has set a target of 2035 for the UK recycle 65% of all municipal waste.

To meet that target, we must radically improve our approach to recycling.

With Bead Services, you can meet the sustainability demands of the future, today.
